How To Update LG Optimus One P500 to Android 4.2.1 Jellybean [Ultimate Guide]

LG Optimus One is initial mobile in Optimus
series. It comes with 600 MHz processor and
512 MB RAM. This device runs on Android 2.3

I. Before You Begin:
1. The following procedure works for LG
Optimus One P500 smartphones.
2. Make sure your device have at least 80%
battery power.
3. You must have ClockworkMod Recovery
installed on your device.
4. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Jelly Bean 4.2.1 ROM for LG Optimus One
P500
[Filename: cm-10.1-20121224-UNOFFICIAL-
p500.zip]
2. Google Apps [Filename: apps-jb-4.2.1-
light-20121130-signed.zip]
III. Install Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean ROM on
LG Optimus One P500:
1. Connect your phone to PC using USB cable.
2. Copy downloaded files to the SD card of
your phone.
3. Disconnect USB
4. Turn off your phone
5. Boot into recovery by pressing and holding
Volume Down, Home and Power buttons
6. Wipe the Data and Dalvic Cache or you
might brick your device afterwards
7. Select install zip from sdcard, then select
choose zip from sdcard. (Locate the Jelly Bean
4.2 Rom .zip file) and select it by pressing
Power button.
8. Once the ROM installation process end,
repeat the step 7 but choose Google apps
instead of ROM zip to install the Google apps
package.
9. When installation is completed, go back to
the main recovery menu and select reboot
system now to reboot the phone and boot up
into customized Android 4.2.1 ROM

Cara Mencari Driver Device Hardware Yang Tidak Diketahui Unknown Device

Sering kali kita mendapatkan kendala pada komputer kita karena ada harware device yang kita pasang pada komputer kita karena belum adanya driver device yang terinstall atau terpasang pada windows komputer kita sehingga device hardware tersebut tidak bisa berfungsi. Tidak berfungsi nya device tersebut bisa dilihat dengan mengecek status nya pada menu device manager. Cara Cek apakah device / hardware yang terpasang pada komputer kita sudah dilengkapi device driver atau belum dengan cara sebagai berikut .

Masuk menu Device Manager dengan cara masuk menu Run >> Ketikan perintah devmgmt.msc dan enter , kemudian di Menu Device Manager tersebut akan terdapat daftar hardware / device apa saja yang terinstall pada komputer kita.

Suatu device / hardware yang yang tidak terpasang dengan benar / tidak berfungsi dapat langsung terdeteksi dengan adanya tanda seru atau tanda tanya pada bagian hardware device tersebut. Hal ini disebabkan karena belum terpasang nya driver device sehingga tidak dikenali oleh system atau disebut juga dengan sebutan unknown device.

Masalah Unknown Device ini bisa teratasi dengan cara meng install driver yang dibutuhkan untuk device / hardware tersebut. Bila kita tahu speesifikasi Device / hardware kita , kita bisa langsung dapatkan Driver Device tersebut dengan mendownload nya di situs resmi pembuat device hardware tersebut.  Namun sering kali kita tidak mempunyai driver tersebut karena kita tidak tahu apa Vendor , pembuat (manucfatured) atau versi jenis hardware yang kita miliki .

Cara mudah untuk mencari driver device / hardware unknown device tersebut dengan cara memanfaatkan situs pencari driver yaitu situs devid.info, langkahnya sebagai berikut :

• Masuk menu device manager ,
• Klik kanan pada bagian device yang terdeteksi Unknown device dan pilih property.
• Klik detail maka dalam menu tersebut akan terlihat Device Instance ID , misal USBVID_04B8&PID_0805&MI_006&4D32EAB&0&0000
• Klik Device Instance ID nya dan gunakan perintah shot cut keyboard yaitu ctrl + C dan paste pada notepad untuk mencatat Device Instance ID hardware device yang akan kita carikan drivernya.
• Buka situs pencari driver unknown device yaitu situs devid.info alamat http://devid.info
• Atau klik  Disini
• Masukan Device Instance ID pada kotak pencariannya dan klik search

Devid.info akan memaparkan result pencarian detail device kita tersebut beserta link download driver yang kita butuhkan untuk device hardware kita tersebut.
Download software / driver nya dan Silahkan install pada PC anda, dan problem unknown device anda sudah teratasi.
